After years of being estranged, a former underworld gangster is compelled to reconcile with his disconnected brother, bridging their profound differences.

"Ramabanam" is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language action drama film helmed by Sriwass, based on a narrative crafted by Bhupathi Raja. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Gopichand, Dimple Hayathi, Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, Tarun Arora, and Sachin Khedekar, with the musical elements skillfully composed by Mickey J. Meyer.

Plot Summary: Rajaram, a restaurant owner, lives with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, younger brother Vikram "Vicky," and their extended family. While Rajaram advocates for a peaceful, law-abiding existence, Vicky rebels against injustice. A clash with a rival restaurateur, Paparao, leads to Vicky burning down Paparao's house. Rajaram, attempting to bring Vicky to justice, results in Vicky fleeing to Kolkata. In Kolkata, Vicky becomes a renowned gangster under the tutelage of his adoptive father Guptha. He falls in love with Bhairavi, and the couple decides to visit Vicky's family in Hyderabad.


Unaware of Vicky's criminal pursuits, the family joyously welcomes him back and embraces his relationship with Bhairavi. However, Vicky learns of the threats posed by GK, a powerful food manufacturer and Paparao's son-in-law. GK targets Rajaram for exposing adulteration practices in GK Foods, leading to the poisoning of food donated by Rajaram to an orphanage. Rajaram, facing imminent imprisonment, instructs the family to hide the truth from Vicky.
Upon discovering the peril faced by his family, Vicky takes matters into his own hands. He battles GK, foiling multiple attacks and reinitiating Rajaram's daughter's canceled wedding. Despite Vicky's covert actions, Rajaram eventually discovers Vicky's criminal life, leading to a rift between them. As GK kidnaps Rajaram and the hospitalized children, Vicky, with Rajaram's assistance, fights against GK's goons. The court becomes aware of GK's misdeeds, leading to the imprisonment of GK and Paparao. Vicky, having redeemed himself, reunites with his family.



In "Ramabanam," the narrative unfolds with gripping family dynamics, criminal intrigue, and moments of redemption, making it a compelling addition to Telugu cinema.
